Welcome to our Web site
Kezar Falls Business Association
The KFBA has been active since the year 2000 and began with only a vision of what we could do to build a brighter business community to revitalize the tri-town area of Porter, Parsonsfield and South Hiram. We are building on that vision and are actively seeking to strengthen and expand our business community. Therefore we give special thanks to the many businesses that share our hopes and dreams of building a stronger and more profitable business community. Since the beginning we have had as our motto: "Where Business & Community Are In Partnership.
Please come and join us in this effort. Become a member of the KFBA and give your valued insight and enter into the discussion about how to grow and develop our towns in a way that we all can be proud of living in the Kezar Falls area. This is a wonderful place to live and raise a family and we can make it even better with the ideas and vision that you can bring to the table.

The Kezar Falls Business Assoc. Meeting of Dec 1/2009
Those present at the December KFBA Meeting were Harvey, Macomber, David Gilpatric, and Greg Schick. Our meeting was held at Harvey Macomber's place of business. We made out the new schedule of meeting dates for 2010 and they will be posted on our website at www.kezarfalls.org
Last month we met at the Parsonsfield Town Hall and had an informative discussion with the selectmen of the town about the future plans for the old Woolen Mill complex. The officers of the KFBA will be going on an invited walk through of the old mill to consider the condition of the mill and its potential. A letter was sent to the Town of Parsonsfield from the KFBA to support their efforts to pursue development of the old mill.
We had a continued time of discussion about the mill and all agreed that the development of the old mill complex would offer potential growth for the business community. We also believe that to develop the mill is a much better idea than letting it fall down, as it would become a greater safety hazard for the community and is a potential fire hazard in its present condition.
Next month we will have an update on the walk through and comment to any ideas proposed. We want to extend a huge Thank You to the seclectmen of the Town of Parsonsfield for their due dilligence in the effort of development of the Woolen Mill complex.
