Spring
- April: Community Clean-Up Earth Day
- May: Kezar Falls Lilac Festival, Sat. of Memorial Day Weekend, First Saturday in June, Craft Fair, Bike Parade, Church Breakfast, Booth Vendors, Children's Entertainment, Food Vendors, BBQ Supper, a Fun Day For All.
- May: Memorial Day Services by West-Day Post 123, American Legion, 31 Mountain View Ave. Porter, Maine 04068, Regular Meetings First Wednesday of Each Month at 7PM, All Veterans Welcome, FMI call 207-625-9302.
- June: Strawberry Festival at Riverside Methodist Church. Vendors, Shortcake, Children's Activities. Check the Shopping Guide for info.

- 8:00 a.m. Meet at Legion Hall
- 9:00 a.m. East Parsonsfield Cemetery
- 9:30 a.m. Maplewood Cemetery
- 10:00 a.m. North Parsonsfield Cemetery
- 10:30 a.m. Porter Village Cemetery
- 11:00 a.m. Kezar Falls Cemetery
- 12:00 a.m. Noon Lunch for Participating Veterans
- 1:00 p.m. Memorial Day Service at one of the Town Halls (check Shopping Guide for updated location)
- 2:00 p.m. South Hiram Cemetery on Route 160
Summer
- July: 4th of July Weekend, Chicken BBQ on lawn (weather permitting), Riverside United Methodist Church, 4:30-6:30
- July: Ossipee Valley Agricultural Fair, Wednesday - Sunday. Parade begins at School Street and proceeds down Main Street in Porter to South Hiram ending at the Ossipee Valley Fair Grounds just beyond the Hiram Elementary School. The Parade takes place Friday of the same week. (Please check the Shopping Guide FMI)
- Throughout the summer: Parsonsfield, Porter Historical Society Open House, at the History House in Porter, (Check the Shopping Guide FMI)
- July: Ossipee Valley Bluegrass Festival, presented by North Atlantic Arts Alliance, at the Ossipee Valley Fair Grounds (watch the Shopping Guide FMI on this event or go to www.ossipeevalley.com)
- July: Electronics Drop-Off, annual recycling event sponsored by the 5 town, South Hiram Elementary School parking lot. Check the Shopping Guide for info.
- July: The Saco River Festival Association Summer Bandstand Series. Location: Cornish Bandstand, Maple Street (next to Bangor Savings Bank, 180 Maple St. Cornish, Maine). (In the event of rain, the concerts will be held at the Sacopee Valley Middle School, 137 South Hiram Rd. Hiram, ME) Time: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm 5 Consecutive Tuesdays, beginning July 6, 2010
- August: Yard Sale, Riverside Methodist Church, (Check the Shopping Guide for date).
- August: Par-Sem Days is the first Saturday in August at Parsonsfield Seminary, North Parsonsfield, Route 160. Take route 25 west to 160, take 160 and watch for the car show on the left. There will be: Craft Booths, Food Vendors, Musical Entertainment, Antique and Vintage Car Show, and much much more. A fun day for old and young alike. Fall
- September: Porter Old Meeting House Labor Day Service, held Sunday of Labor Day weekend, one of the local pastors will be preaching from the elevated pulpit to the congregation seated in stalls popular in the 1800's. Come and enjoy the old New England-style Worship Service.
- Annual Community Halloween Parade: Parade is always the Sunday before Halloween and begins at the Sacopee Valley Health Center's parking lot and ends at the Methodist Church with games and goodies for the children. The Sacopee Valley High School and Middle School Bands along with the Kezar Falls Fire Department lead the parade.
Winter
- October-November: Rod and Gun Club sponsored Hunter Safety Course, (check Shopping Guide FMI on time and place prior to hunting season
- December: Holly Berry Fair, at the Riverside United Methodist Church, the first Sunday in December, Crafts, Ham Supper and Christmas Tree Lighting.
- Ice Skating at the South Hiram Elementary School as weather permits
- Area Snowmobile Trails are open and Clubs meet (check local Shopping Guide for Snowmobile Club information)
- February: Ice Fishing Derby, sponsored by local Rod and Gun Club
